Kimberly grew up in Joppatowne, Maryland, just east of Baltimore.  She went to Mt. Saint Mary’s College (in western Maryland) and graduated with a BS in elementary education in 2000.  She decided not to teach and instead took a job as a Protocol Development Coordinator for a Brain Tumor Research Group (New Approaches to Brain Tumor Therapy or NABTT) at Johns Hopkins University

In 2005 she married her husband, Justin, and moved to Meridian. She continued to work for NABTT from her home and later decided to look for part-time work in order to be with 2 sons. She believes her job at 1st Presbyterian is an answer to prayer.  She also works as an independent distributor for Premier Designs Jewelry.
