Justin joined the staff of First Presbyterian in September 2007. He was born and raised in West Tennessee, and did his undergraduate studies at Union University, majoring in Christian Ethics. Upon the completion of this degree, he relocated to Birmingham, Alabama, where he earned his Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School, an interdenominational seminary on the campus of Samford University. It was during this time that he met his wife, Meredith; also, a Samford graduate. Having committed his life to Christian ministry, Justin is passionate about seeing students become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, and is presently answering that call through the ordination process of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Justin is an avid reader, is fairly vocal in his love for St. Louis Cardinal baseball and Tennessee Volunteer football, and enjoys a good cup of coffee.
