Our Doctrine

We believe that there is no greater joy nor deeper peace than knowing God.  We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the ordinary way that God makes Himself known.  We also believe that God’s Spirit is at work in the world to show that salvation is found only in Jesus.

These beliefs give us purpose and help us make sense of the world.

Our denomination, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), believes that it is not only important for Christians to know what they believe; but Christians should also know which beliefs are the most important!

To that end, our denomination’s motto requires churches to be united in the essential truths of the Christian faith without quarreling over our non-essential differences:

In essentials,

unity

In non-essentials,

liberty

in all things,

charity
